Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Former twice world title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As both boxers participated in the customary face-off, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really happening.
